You may have reached a point where concerns have been building, feel stuck, struggle to see a way forward, or want to work on coming to terms with unresolved experiences or a loss. Exploring and processing these issues in a supportive and confidential setting can offer a new perspective, untangle emotions and help finding acceptance.
Therapy can be a bit like a hike in the mountains – offering new perspectives and moments of clarity, while also building strength and resilience to overcome obstacles on our journey. Putting words to and making sense of our feelings, can ease the fear and anxiety of the unknown, and help us be more in touch with ourselves. I believe our journeys are shaped by a wide range of influences such as family dynamics, socio-environmental backgrounds as well as biological factors, and I aim to see and understand you without prejudice.
Originally from Switzerland, I have worked and studied in several countries and I am passionate about life in multi-cultural society. Before training as a therapist I worked in the media and music industry — which continue to be an important part of my life — and I have a holistic approach to life’s challenges, including personal growth, spirituality and self-expression.
Thanks to my studies, fellow students and work with clients I have become able to appreciate how everyone’s personality, life and challenges are individual and unique, and I continue to be curious to learn and understand the intricacies of our minds and relationships.
“Because true belonging only happens when we present our authentic, imperfect selves to the world, our sense of belonging can never be greater than our level of self-acceptance.”
– Brené Brown
